The story behind Little Lessons
Small stories.
Room for something bigger.
Little Lessons began with a mother looking for a gentler way to connect at the end of the day.
Bedtime wasn’t always easy in our house. My daughter could get frustrated, and sharing was sometimes hard. I wanted to help her with those everyday feelings without turning every moment into a lesson.
One evening, we listened together to a story about making mistakes and trying again. The next day, her tower fell. She looked at me and said, “It’s okay, Mommy. I can try again.”
That small moment moved me. Something we had shared in a story had stayed with her, and she had found her own way to use it.
Now, choosing a story together is a part of bedtime we enjoy. For us, it has become a peaceful moment of connection. It has helped me make more room for enjoying being her mother, too.
Stories, with room to discover
That experience is at the heart of Little Lessons: stories that let children explore feelings and everyday choices through characters they care about. There is room to imagine, ask a question, or simply listen together.
Our collection brings together reviewed stories, full narration and read-along transcripts. Listen to a preview, choose a story for your family, and make the moment your own.
