Purchases & membership
A favorite to keep.
A collection to explore.
Here’s how individual stories and monthly membership work.
Updated October 25, 2026
Your library and payment status
Stories become available after payment is confirmed. If a purchase is still processing, check its status in Purchase history before trying to buy it again. If a membership payment fails, your already-paid time remains available; a later period unlocks after payment is confirmed.
Purchase historyWhat is included
Standard stories include full narration and read-along transcripts. Membership includes published standard stories, not unpublished or archived titles. Personalization, custom stories, parent voices and interactive stories are not included or available in this version.
An individual purchase provides streaming and read-along access to the purchased edition through your account. It does not transfer copyright or include a downloadable file. Ordinary catalog archival preserves access to your purchased edition. Background and lock-screen playback depend on your device and browser.
Cancellation and refunds
Canceling renewal stops the next membership renewal and keeps the rest of your paid listening period. Cancellation does not automatically request or issue a refund, and requesting a refund does not itself cancel future renewals.
You can request a full refund within seven calendar days of an individual-story purchase or each monthly membership charge. Later refunds are available for confirmed duplicate or incorrect charges, or an unresolved delivery problem.
A confirmed full refund removes only the access paid for by that charge. Other individual purchases and paid membership periods remain available. This policy does not limit rights provided by applicable law.
If a purchased story becomes unavailable
Contact us if you cannot play a purchased story. If its recording becomes permanently unavailable and we cannot restore access, we refund the affected story charge, even after seven days.
If Little Lessons closes, we stop future membership renewals and refund the unused portion of the current membership period. This unused-time refund applies to service closure; ordinary membership cancellation keeps the remaining paid time and does not automatically create a prorated refund.
Closing your account permanently
Permanent account closure is different from canceling membership. It ends sign-in and library access, including individually purchased stories, and stops future membership renewal. We explain these consequences and obtain your explicit confirmation before proceeding.
Closure does not automatically refund prior charges. The refund policy still applies. If you want to keep your purchased stories, cancel membership renewal instead of closing your account. See your privacy choices for how to request a review.
Changes to these terms
We update the date above and explain material changes here or through an appropriate account notice. A future price or feature change does not turn an existing individual purchase into a membership-only story.
