A Smudge on the Moon
Nia's toy truck smudges Ellis's chalk moon. Telling him what happened opens a way to help, while leaving the drawing in his hands.

Inside this story
Nia briefly hides a chalk smudge beneath her truck, then moves it and explains the accident and her attempted repair. Ellis is allowed to be disappointed and to redraw his favorite part himself. He later invites Nia to repair the outer curve. The visible pale patch remains, while a new delivery spot lets their shared play resume without crossing the drawing.
