Lesson: Confidence
Milo wants to sing Grandma a little song he made, but the words get stuck. On the porch at dusk, he finds a gentle way to begin.
For parents & caregivers
Milo sings easily when he is alone, but hesitates when he wants to share his own song with Grandma. He asks her to look at the flowers, starts by humming, and finds a forgotten lyric by noticing the buttons on her cardigan. He chooses to sing again while still feeling a little nervous. Confidence grows through his own small choices and continuing with an imperfect voice, without a prize, applause or an explicit moral.
